Beau Horyza is a film director, photographer and editor, and the founder of Solo Visuals. He’s a Scottsdale native who takes a camera everywhere he goes, and most of what he shoots starts with exploring Arizona.

Beau studied film at Scottsdale Community College and has worked on short films and features as director of photography and camera operator, including a short accepted into the Scottsdale Short Film Festival in 2017. The music videos he’s directed have gathered millions of views.

He keeps sharpening the craft on the road, travelling and touring with artists. Away from the camera and the edit bay, he’s usually on a basketball court or in the gym.

How a project runs

The same four steps whether it’s a music video or a portrait session.

Consultation
Once you book, we sit down and get a clear picture of what you want, so the finished piece matches the idea in your head.

Concept
We write a treatment and storyboard from that conversation, with reference images and locations, and agree on it with you before anything is shot.

Production
Shoot day. Everything in the treatment, captured on location with a crew sized to the job.

Post-production
Editing, colour and sound on everything we captured, delivered by the deadline we agreed at the start.

What we shoot

Music videos: Full-length music videos from treatment to final grade. Shot in 4K, colour corrected in house, and we travel to wherever the song needs to be.
Events: Concerts, corporate events, weddings, birthdays, sports, interviews and grand openings, covered start to finish and cut into a recap people actually watch.
Photography: Portraits, maternity and family sessions, engagements, headshots and business photos, plus stills from your concert or event.
Short-form & brand content: Vertical video for ads, behind-the-scenes and social: the short pieces that keep a brand, an artist or a big day in front of people.
